YAMA

Yama is the first limb of the eightfold path of yoga. It is made up of five practices that form the ethical foundation for living one’s life.

The yamas are practices of purification. They work specifically on the mind, the seat of all our thoughts. They are in harmony with eternal and natural laws. They are guidelines for living in our greatest potential.
