Welcome to this ‘Full-Body’ Adventure with extra focus on twists, the action of the inner groins in Standing Poses, Forward Bends and awesome variations in Sirsasana and Sarvangasana. We start off gently with Yoga Mudrasana (rolled blanket for the abdomen) and Adho Mukha Svanasana before transitioning into Standing Poses interspersed with Jathara Parivartanasanas for deep twisting purifications. Then comes Virasana with Shoulder Openings moving us into Janu Sirsasana and Baddha Konasana with strap behind the knees for extra understanding of essential knee health and action of the inner groins rolling out. This sequence culminates in the most wonderful Inverted Matsyasana with bolster (pure heaven!) and from then on we take the imprints of these explorations into our Sirsasana and Sarvangasana. Imagine one leg in Vajrasana and the other in Baddha Konasana whilst upside down and you’ll understand why I think this sequence is so fun.
