A gentle full-body-check-in that both activates and restores. We start on our backs with supine openings of the legs and hips before taking it up a notch into full body stretches and squat Malasanas. Now that everything is ‘awake’ we move into a series of vibrant Standing Poses with particular emphasis of the exhale in the twisting and exploring the action of diagonalised arm ‘slicing’ which is very freeing for the shoulders. Having fully worked the vehicle we then release any residual tension in the front thighs and knees before entering a deeply soothing sequence of Forward bends followed by a final passive supine twist and a well deserved Viparita Karani/Savasana.
