Enriching compact class that guides us through key daily yoga essentials so that the entire mind/body vehicle is touched and transformed. Emphasis throughout on how to place the inner body from the coccyx all the way up to the sternum plate ensuring fabulous inner lift and freedom. Starting with a light seated meditation to draw us into practice space, we then warm the body up using standing poses interspersed with downward dogs, shoulder openers, supported twists and hip releasers. This is followed by a light but important headstand to heat the spine and bring fresh blood to the brain. We further the openings of the heart in supported setu bandha sarvangasana, continuing with an absolutely essential shoulder stand/plough cycle (ensuring that every single part of our inner and outer vehicle is given sufficient love) and ending with a delicious guided savasana.
