Welcome to this gentle class that helps us connect with healthy basic actions in asana from the feet to the shoulders to the pelvic floor. We start with light Surya Namaskar and Standing Poses before entering a sequence of seated feet, ankle & knee openers during which we also explore how to access the inner lift of the pelvic floor. We then take this leg awareness into our inversions (Sirsasana and Sarvangasana) exploring firm foundations of these essential poses through the changing position of the legs, before winding down through supine twists and a well deserved Savasana.
